We want to be clear about what we do not do:
- We do not store user-submitted text. Content you paste or type into our tools is processed in real time and is not saved to our servers after the response is generated.
- We do not store uploaded images. Images submitted to the AI Image Detector are processed and immediately discarded.
- We do not create user profiles. We do not track individual users across sessions or build behavioral profiles.

- We do not train AI models on user data. Content submitted to our tools is not used to train or improve any machine learning models.

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the Services:
Rate Limiting Data
To enforce fair usage limits, we temporarily log anonymized IP addresses alongside a daily usage counter. This data is stored locally on our server and is automatically purged every 72 hours. The IP address is used solely to count daily tool uses and is not linked to any personal information, browsing history, or submitted content.
Server Logs
Our web server automatically records standard access logs, which may include IP addresses, browser type, referring pages, and timestamps. These logs are used for security monitoring and troubleshooting and are retained for no more than 30 days.
API Usage Logs
We maintain brief API logs that record the tool used, a truncated portion of the query (first 80 characters), and the timestamp. These logs are used to monitor service health and detect abuse. They are retained for no more than 7 days and are not linked to personal identifiers.
4. Third-Party Services
Our Services use the OpenAI API to process text-based tool requests. When you use our tools, the text you submit is sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. OpenAI's handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We do not send any personal identifiers (name, email, IP address) to OpenAI — only the text content necessary to generate a response.
We do not use third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking pixels on AIDetectorApp.io. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools.
5. Cookies
AIDetectorApp.io does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. We may use essential cookies strictly necessary for the Site to function (such as session management if applicable). No third-party cookies are set by our Site.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we handle. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Access to server-side data is restricted to authorized personnel only. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
