1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AIDetectorApp.io (the "Site"), operated by AI Detector App ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site and its associated tools and services.
2. Description of Services
AIDetectorApp.io provides AI-powered content analysis and writing tools, including but not limited to: AI content detection, text humanization, plagiarism analysis, text summarization, paraphrasing, grammar checking, language translation, word counting, email generation, dictionary lookup, AI image analysis, citation generation, essay writing assistance, readability analysis, and sentence rewriting (collectively, the "Services"). These Services are provided for informational and educational purposes.
3. Fair Use and Rate Limits
Free access to the Services is subject to daily usage limits. These limits are in place to ensure fair access for all users and to manage server resources. Currently, free users may use up to 5 tool interactions per day across all tools, and up to 10 messages per day in the AI Chat feature. These limits reset daily. Exceeding these limits requires use of our mobile application, which may offer additional access through subscription plans.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security features
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Services without written permission
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services
5. Intellectual Property
The Site, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AI Detector App and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Services. We do not claim ownership over user-submitted text or images. Output generated by our AI tools is provided for your use, but we make no guarantees regarding its originality or suitability for any specific purpose.
6. AI Detection Disclaimer
AI detection results provided by AIDetectorApp.io are probabilistic assessments, not definitive determinations of authorship. No AI detection technology is 100% accurate. Results may include false positives (human text flagged as AI) and false negatives (AI text not detected). You should not use our detection results as the sole basis for academic, legal, employment, or other consequential decisions. Detection results should be considered as one data point among multiple forms of assessment.
7. AI Writing Tools Disclaimer
Content generated by our AI writing tools (including the essay writer, email helper, humanizer, paraphraser, and chat) is produced by artificial intelligence models and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biased information. Users are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before use. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content. Users must comply with their institution's or organization's policies regarding AI-assisted writing and disclosure.
8. No Warranty
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any results or output provided by the Services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI Detector App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI Detector App, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide notice on the Site prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Romania.
